Elena Rossella Lana, with artistic training and an activity mainly carried out on flat supports, experiments the third dimension with a collection of sculptures whose matrix is a terracotta horse with bas-relief and hand-painted decorations.
Its stylized shape and its decorations retrace the styles of distant eras making it a timeless and functionless object: the horse has no riders or vestments useful for any task. Its saddle and cloak become a pure decorative element and the surfaces place representations related to nature.
